Another casualty due to rotten bulb with pungent smell.
Heat and sunshine doesn't helps (probably make it worst).
Post-mortem:
- No roots growth
- Stem rotted
Plant Ginger with 30% soil and 70% compost.
Soil 1: Superior soil with Compost, mix with Larvie Frass / Vermicast
Lay a piece of ginger. My post size is 10in in diameter.
Cover with an inch of soil.
Soil 2: Baba Green Mary with Compost, mix with some Larvie Frass / Vermicast.
Pot size is 11in in diameter.
The Daikon finally died as the body has totally rotted and emptied.
I experiment with the following fertilizer
- Organic Fertilizer (2 weeks once)
- Coffee Grounds (2 weeks once)
- Home-made Liquid Enzyme (twice a week)
Mix with some Larvie Frass / Vermicast and Egg Shell.
The pot using Organic Fertilizer grows slightly taller, while others are doing well too.
