Homemade Fertilizer Enzyme

My mom made this enzyme more than 3 months ago, and it smells like fruity alcohol.

I try mixing with water using 1:10~20 ratio and experiment with watering some of the plant.

Collect fruits and vegetables, cut into little pieces and store inside a plastic container. Cutting into little pieces help to hasten the enzyme making process.

Get a plastic container (glass is not suitable as the enzyme will release gas which might break the glass when under pressure). Add chopped fruits and vegetables up to 30% of the container.

Get some brown sugar, preferably those which are dark brown and extra fine. In Malay language it is known as Gula Merah, or Red Sugar in Chinese. Alternative for brown sugar includes EM powder, overnight yogurt or beer.

Put water in the container up to 90%, the 10% empty space is for the release of gas. The ratio is Fruits/Vegetables (3), Water (10) and Brown Sugar (1).

There are some nice fruity alcohol smell.
