Sadly it starts to rot and become smelly.
It read it is normal for the outer layers to fall off, but the smell of rot doesn't seems normal.
I suspect it was killed by the heat.

Seems like one of the garlic is going to sprout.
Bring it out to a shaded area of the balcony for more sunlight.
New leaves start to grow. No roots.
I use seeds bought from Baba
The seeds are small and lightweight.
Prepare some seedlings cup or tray.

Trim away the yellow and dried leaves. Hopefully the plant can survive.
