Another unwecomed residents of the bin.
The leaves doesn't get enough water and drying up. I remove more leaves which dried up.
Tiny roots are spotted.
Not doing particularly well.
Have a tiny snails infestation in the bin. Nothing much could be done except to pick them up whenever I see them.
Got some Brazilian Spinach cuttings from my mom. I keep 10 - 15cm per Cutting, and remove the lower leaves.
I experiment with 2 approaches:
First I noticed a lot of ants going up the plant, then I saw some white spots on the plant. I believe these are mealybug, where it left a sweet liquid to attract the ants, which in turn the ants protect the mealy bugs from predator.
I use a toothpick to remove the white spot from the plants, and spray it with home made pesticide (need oil + organic dish water).
