Update for #61: Grow Pak Choy From Seed

2 seeds sprouted.

Dip the okra seeds in water in a few hours, then try to grow them in seedling mix.

The remaining plant still growing well in water. Cover the water container with cloth to avoid mosquito breeding, and wrap around with black plastic to avoid algae growing.

+2

Nice lush green leaves and plenty of roots.

All the garlics have dried up. Probably due to too little sunlight, as it only gets an hour of morning sun.

The okra pod doesn't crack up after almost 3 months. The seed doesn't seems big and round. Perhaps the original size of the okra is too small for seed harvest.

  1. 🌱 Curly Dwarf Pak Choy

Third time growing. Let's see if I manage to grow bigger plant this time.

I use both Baba and BLS seedling mix. I also experiment with bottom watering.

Growing them indoor next to a window, and using a grow light for 6h per day.

#60: Regrow Thai Basil From Cutting

  1. 🌱 Thai Basil

I got some Thai Basil cuttings from my mom. Each Cutting should be 4 to 6 inches long. Remove the leaves at the bottom 2 inches. Dip the bottom 1 inch in water.

I experiment with rooting powder to see if it makes a difference.
