#56: Regrow Store Bought Bentong Ginger

Bought some Bentong ginger from Zhiky Trading near my house.

I snaps two pieces with the most eyes, and let it dry for a day or two (to avoid infection and rotting when planted in soil).

The cuttings dried up nicely. Will dip in water for 5 hours before planting.

Plant Ginger with 30% soil and 70% compost.

The pot with Green Mary soil kept in shades are the first to sprout after more than a month.

Repot the ginger with new soil (without Sime Darby compost) to see if it grows better.
