Gave them 6 hours of artificial light at night.
Let the outdoor seedling get some morning and evening sun. Try to avoid afternoon at the moment.
Bring the indoor plant out for some morning sun. Will need to transplant them soon.
Transplant a pot with 3 seedlings to individual pots, as it seems too crowded.
Added some coffee grounds to the remaining pots which are still small.
Experiment with fertilizer
The plant seems pretty small after 30 days (about 6-8cm tall).
The organic fertilizer and coffee grounds applied 10 days ago didn't show any significant difference.
Fertilize with Organic Fertilizer / Coffee Grounds, Egg Shell, Larvie Frass, Banana Peel. Planned fertilization twice a week.
Quite a number of yellow leaves: I am still not sure is it overwatering, underwater inge or lack of nutrients.
Transplant the last two remaining seedlings into bigger pot.
Soil and Compost (1:1), some perlite and coco peat, with a bit of larvie frass / vermicast and egg shell.
Experiment with Soil 1 (Baba Vegimix) and Soil 2 (Baba Green Mary).
Fertilize every two weeks: organic fertilizer, coffee grounds, larvie frass / vermicast, egg shell.
The last batch of transplant didn't do well in new pot. Didn't grow much in size, and suffer from yellowing of leaves.
It seems like the compost and fertilizer didn't help the plant.
It seems like this is a far as it goes with these Choy Sum, as they are most likely to die if I continue to grow them. I decide to harvest all of them.
My Choy Sum size is way too small, let's see if I can do better next time.
I notice Bak Choy can grow much longer as compared to Choy Sum.
Previously I made a mistake thinking these were Bak Choy, but they were actually Choy Sum.
These are the last 3 of this batch.
