#57: Grow Pandan From Sapling (3rd Attempt)

Seems to be doing alright in water, but not great either.

The pandan leaves are turning yellow after being exposed to some morning sun in the balcony.

The plant is doing alright indoor, with new roots growing.

Leaves look healthy with roots growing. Experiment with feeding it humus fertilizer diluted in water.

Transplant the smaller rooted seedling into soil. Will keep in shades for a few days.

Some yellow leaves start to appear on the newly transplanted pandan, even though it is protected from direct sunlight.

I cut off the yellow leaves, put it at even more shady area and water it slightly.

Still in shock after transplant. Trim off yellowing leaves, water daily and keep in shades.

The remaining plant still growing well in water. Cover the water container with cloth to avoid mosquito breeding, and wrap around with black plastic to avoid algae growing.

Try moving the plant in balcony to see if it can adjust to some sunlight.

Put the pandan outdoor to get adjusted to direct sun.

The pandan couldn't make it.

Transplant the second pandan after almost 2 months in water, where it has grown some good roots.

I water the pot thoroughly, as I am pretty sure it won't suffer from root rot.

Doing well, but the leaves does have some worrying patches.

The new leaves are growing healthy.
