Cut 1 inch off the base, dip the base into 0.5 to 1cm of water. Keep it indoor near a window.

Problem Dying

The base fully rotted.

So far it always never roots and always rot. Next time I will plant in water until new leaves grow, then transplant to soil without waiting for roots to grow in water.
